Old City Point Waterfront Park is THE place to go fishing, if you don’t have a boat that is. Fishing is permitted from the pier, which channel catches due to its location at the confluence of the James & Appomattox Rivers. There are also picnic areas and restrooms if you just want to enjoy an afternoon by the water. Open from dawn to dusk.
