We are excited to announce the first-ever Hopewell Rivers & Roads Festival happening September 6th, 7th, and 8th. This multi-day festival is a collaborative effort between the Hopewell Downtown Partnership and the Hopewell Prince George Chamber of Commerce. The event is free and open to all. Proceeds from the tournament and motorcycle ride will support future projects in Downtown Hopewell.
We invite you to experience:
- 2 Nights of Live Music
- A street festival with vendors, food trucks, and participation by local businesses and civic groups
- Wine, beer, and other libations
- Free paddling, kayaking, and pontoon boat rides on the Appomattox River
- A group motorcycle ride of the scenic 5&Dime route led by local veteran groups
- Sports and cheer relays
- Interactive art activities
- Community Day at our National Park Service site, Appomattox Manor
- 2 day bass fishing tournament at Hopewell City Marina

WHERE CAN I PARK FOR THE STREET FESTIVAL (SAT)?
- Free parking is available in multiple areas around the festival! Look for Event Parking signs in the areas below.
- Lot next to the Appomattox Regional Library. Navigate to 245 Appomattox St and you will see parking signs and a large lot above City Park.
- Lot behind the Hopewell General District Circuit Courthouse at 100 E Broadway. You can access this lot from Route 10/E Randolph Rd near Hardee’s or from E City Point Rd near Daniel & Daniel Realty
- Smaller lots near the Community Center on E City Point Rd.
- Smaller lot behind SOVA Yoga/American Legion via Hopewell St.
- Street Parking on Appomattox St, Hopewell St, Main St.
