From busking in Charlottesville’s downtown mall to national fame touring on the festival circuit, Willie DE blends folk, blues and jazz for a sound that is a charming blend of Morrison and Dylan. After touring with his first band, The Wave, which gained festival success at the likes of Floydfest, Willie began performing his original material (and covers) solo in the twenty-teens. Since releasing his first solo album, titled ‘Egg Cracked, The Bird Went Wild,’ he has since shared the stage with the North Mississippi All-Stars and opened for top-flight musicians such as David Olney & Sergio Webb, Ivan & Alyosha, Alash Ensemble and The Hackensaw Boys. We’re excited to see him again out on the vineyard!
