The Beacon Theatre
The Beacon Theatre is Hopewell’s crown jewel. This historic music venue was built in the 1920’s and continues to offer memorable concert experiences to visitors a century later. World-class acts, such as Graham Nash, The Byrds, and The Old Dominion Barn Dance have recently graced the stage at The Beacon. Located in downtown Hopewell, the Beacon is convenient to a host of lodging and dining options. Come for a show (or two) and make a day or weekend trip out of it.

The legendary Rhode Island multi-platinum rock’n’roll group John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band began their career in 1973 and achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with the “Eddie & The Cruisers – Motion Picture Soundtrack”. The hit single “ON THE DARK SIDE” held the “#1” position on the Billboard Rock charts and the MTV video charts for five consecutive weeks. The album sold over 3 million copies and was certified triple Platinum by the RIAA. Over the years John has placed 35 songs in major motion pictures. In celebration of their 50+ years together John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band continue to tour and bring their exciting live shows to fans around the world.
